Hey Everybody!
So it's been a week since I wrote my last blog. I'm happy to report that things are looking up! :) I have held to everything I wrote in the last post...so far! And I'm already feeling like a better version of myself. My roommate even commented on it this morning. I was making my lunch which consisted of a bagel thin with peanut butter, diced pears, and some rice/bean chips when she said you're like a brand new person! I've been working out everyday and trying to eat better. Last night my roommates when out to dinner and asked if I wanted to join them. Normally I would but I turned them down and had some cottage cheese and a pear for dinner. I also worked out double last night. Went to the gym and used the Elliptical machine for about an hour and then played Just Dance on sweat mode for almost another hour. Good times! So now that my body is starting to like working out again I'm hoping that the lbs will start dropping off again too!
I haven't started playing the guitar yet but I have borrowed my friend's guitar and will be finding a book for beginners so I can start learning some chords soon. I've started writing some lyrics for a song so once I start playing I should be able to find a tune for my song. I'm excited to get back into music again. Music really is the love of my life! It makes me happy and really understands me! Way better than any boyfriend ;) haha!
My spiritual side is coming along as well. Looking forward to the blessings I will be receiving for really putting Heavenly Father first in my life. I'm so grateful to know what I do about the gospel and eternal families. I'm grateful to have all of you in my life and that we will always be together. Thanks for always being there for me! I love you all!
Glad to hear everything is going so well!
ReplyDeleteKaley, life is about ups and downs. The goal is to have more ups than downs. It is funny how you see yourself through your weight. I truly believe that when you can learn to be happy with you, some of the weight problems will go away. You have to love yourself unconditionally. That doesn't mean not taking care of yourself. You are a daughter of your Heavenly Father -- which you know. Find a way to be happy with your self every day -- I know I am a big talker and should take some of my advice to heart. You are a beautiful person. I will cheer you on any way I can.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan! You're right there is definitely more to life than my weight and I'm trying to see that too. Which is why I'm doing more than just focusing on my weight this time. I'm doing other things that will make me happy too. I really appreciate your advice and your example. You're an amazing person and I'm so grateful to have you as my aunt and friend! :) Love you!
