So update....Thanksgiving was not super successful. It was really busy and didn't make a lot of time to work out and I definitely ate more than I should but on the bright side at least I didn't gain anything lol. So I've started my New Year's Resolution early. I went to the gym today and signed up for a trainer! Yes...you heard right! I finally did it! lol...it's for 6 months and the sessions are not cheap but in the long run the money will be worth it. I signed up with the manager over training and I cringed enough with the prices that he ended up taking about 10 dollars off per session. Lol...too bad I didn't have Bryson around he probably would have got it down even further.
Anyway, Roark was the guy I signed up with. I will be having an hour long training session for free with him on friday. He was a little too excited to kick my butt! Haha. Then I'll have my permanent trainer for my other half hour sessions 2 times a week. Roark was super nice and said since I've already been through this before I've already got a jump start on most of the people he signs up. We made some long term goals. since the training is for 6 months we set a goal to be down about 60 lbs by the time Brady gets home. He asked me what reasons I had for setting the goal for June and I told him that Brady would be coming home. He wondered if there were other reasons...I then told him I was picking up Brady from his mission in the Caribbean and he laughed. He asked, "oh so you want to look good in a swimming suit?". Haha, he got it. He also looked at my license and realized my birthday was the same month. I will be turning 25 so yes another good reason to reach my goal by then. :) He was a really nice guy. I also set a goal to be able to run a half marathon. He said if I work hard and get to that point that he will run a half marathon with me.
So I'm excited! Although I wasn't really wanting a trainer for 6 months or to spend that kind of money, I think that I really need to. It's what I need to really be held accountable and make it a habit again. Now I just need to stop spending money anywhere else and try to get this ferveo thing I'm gonna do going. I should be able to make enough money with that to compensate for the trainer, that is if I can get some other people signed up too. Plus the drink might help me with the weight loss process too. Ok, well I think that's it for the update right now. I'll post again after my first workout with Roark! lol...should be intense and I'm sure I'll feel it on Saturday. Well talk to you all later! Love you!
A trainer is a great idea! Can't wait to hear more.
